Getting to Gower

The M4 is the motorway that will bring you into South Wales and Swansea.
For South Gower and Mumbles, choose M4 Junction 42 and follow the A483 through the city centre, then take the A4057 towards Mumbles, and the B4436 on to Gower.
For North Gower, come off at Junction 47 and follow the A483 and A484 towards Gowerton, and then the B4295 to Penclawdd.
Train services will get you as far as Swansea and Gowerton. There are bus services from these stations to Gower. For more information go to www.nationalrail.co.uk or www.traveline.cymru
National Express, Megabus and Greyhound coach services will bring you into Swansea Quadrant Bus Station. Local services will provide links to most parts of Gower. Please note, services vary seasonally. To get up-to-date information please go to www.traveline.cymru or call them on 0800 464 00 00.
During opening hours help may be found at the information centre in the main bus station.
The National Cycle Network (NCN) Route 4 will bring you into Blackpill (follow the local traffic-free route to Mumbles) and further north to Gowerton. The rest of Gower is accessed along 'A' and 'B' roads that can be very busy in spring and summer months, making some routes unsuitable for family cycling or inexperienced cyclists.
