St. Teilo was an early Archbishop of Llandaff. Although the church building dates back to the 12th and early 13th century, the site probably dates as far back as 480AD, making it one of the earliest Christian settlements in Wales.
The stained glass in the church tells many interesting stories. The east window of the chancel is a memorial to seven men from the parish that lost their lives during the First World War. The Millennium window illustrates various places of worship in the village. Other features of the stained glass include St Teilo’s stag and a mouse.
